
Linda Tracy has been primarily responsible for education and safety issues
since she entering the field in 1988. Her work includes program development,
training, and research. In addition to her duties with Tracy-Williams Consulting,
she currently serves on the Missoula City Council, where she is very much
involved in local transportation planning and other issues.
Previously, Tracy worked as a project manager for the Bicycle Federation
of America, where she directed several projects for Federal and state government
agencies, including the development of an award winning bicyclist education
curriculum. She has had a lead role in several professional training programs,
and in the development of special conferences and workshops.
Prior to her BFA experience, Tracy was a Regional Director for the American
Institute for Foreign Study where she recruited, trained and supervised
local coordinators in 3 states to implement a foreign student exchange program.
In Kathmandu, Nepal, she designed and implemented USIA-funded training programs
for American and foreign teachers of English as a second language. Prior
to that, she initiated, developed and implemented a professional development
training program while working as a Research Account Executive at J. Walter
Thompson Co. in Washington, D.C.
